We are proud to announce that now it’s possible to work in Bench mode with our unlock service on MG1CS042 ECUs from 2021 onwards which are mounted on Citroen, DS, Opel/Vauxhall, Peugeot, Secma vehicles with 1.6 THP PureTech engines.

The Bench protocol allows you to read and write the Flash and Eeprom memories, just like ECUs manufactured prior to MY2021. Furthermore, the unlocking process does not affect any future updates from the manufacturer: as a result, the ECU will remain rewritable even after such updates.

In order to know if it’s necessary to unlock the ECU, we have developed the new Bench protocol function that verifies this automatically by reading the ECU data on the bench with FGTechnology EOBD2 software only.

If your ECU requires to be unlocked, you can either send the closed and cleaned ECU to our laboratories by express courier after contacting us or make an appointment to come and visit us in our new laboratories for the unlocking procedure to be carried out.
This is a very delicate operation, which is why we have decided to set up a special team of technicians and engineers who will carry out these operations in the safety of our laboratories.
The ECU will be unlocked, then it can be read and written with the new Bench driver for clients who have FGTechnology EOBD2 active software with Bench +ULTRA.
